The Korean Fashion and Textile Research Journal (Korean Fashion & Text. Res. J.) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly(February, April, June, August, October, and December) publication of the Society of Fashion & Textile Industry. It was launched in 1999. The journal welcomes practical research that covers Korean industrial application as well as studies and reviews of the theoretical or aesthetical aspects of fashion and textile studies which contributes to the progress of scholarly researches and eventually to the development of the Korean fashion and textile industry. Some, or all, of the articles in this journal are indexed in DOI/Crossref, Google Scholar, and Korea Citation Index (KCI). The 2022 KCI IF (released in 2023, July) was the highest among the journals in the related field, so the KFTRJ is growing into a representative journal in the Korean textile and fashion industry.
